Until this very moment when I googled it I did not know that the original term “Bum Steer” was a nautical reference. Sure, I knew it meant to proivde information that was incorrect or misleading, but I guess I never thought about the true origin. Whenever anyone would say, “bum steer”, this image is just what would come to my mind! I guess I’m cowrazy. (Eeek, that was so bad. Sorry.)
